A little more about me

Analytical roots.
Product instincts.
A habit of building.

Suraj Srivastava

I’m Suraj Srivastava, a product leader based in Bengaluru. My career has taken me from equity derivatives at JP Morgan to B2B marketplaces at Bizongo and Udaan, and consumer products at Glance, part of InMobi Group.

Today, I’m responsible for DAU and revenue at Glance / InMobi, across 300M+ devices and 250M+ daily active users. I work with Samsung, Xiaomi and Motorola across product, growth and agentic commerce. Alongside that work, I build applied AI projects to explore new ways of supporting people’s decisions and everyday experiences.

    Product Manager

    Aug 2021 – Jun 2023

At Glance / InMobi, I’m responsible for DAU and revenue across a platform spanning over 300 million devices and 250+ million daily active users. My work spans personalization, activation and agentic commerce, connecting consumer experiences with device distribution and growth across India and Indonesia.

    • Worked with personalization teams on how engagement signals, including likes, shares and video consumption, should inform content affinity.
    • Identified slower mobile connections as a bottleneck in content freshness and worked on adapting asset delivery to network conditions.
    • Helped launch interactive lockscreen widgets, including live scores, step counting and contextual utilities, and worked on gaming experiences.
    • Work with Samsung, Xiaomi and Motorola on product roadmaps, pilots and launches, connecting OEM partnerships with go-to-market, daily engagement and revenue.
    • Used pre- and post-launch analysis and release checks to guide product rollouts.
    • Led analytical work, hired and mentored product analysts and associate product managers, and stayed hands-on with SQL and shared analytical datasets.

  2. B2B marketplaces

    Udaan

    Associate Product Manager

    Jun 2020 – Aug 2021

At Udaan, I worked where marketplace growth meets operating discipline: category economics, field-led adoption and commercial decision-making.

    • Worked on pricing and regional expansion for Food & FMCG, including spices and pulses, with a focus on category economics and gross margins.
    • Supported expansion of the field-sales network helping retailers discover the app, place orders and navigate fulfillment.
    • Built an organization-level dashboard and used Python for data analysis, scripting and automation.
    • Worked across financial planning and analysis, analytics and data-science projects to inform operating decisions.

  3. B2B commerce

    Bizongo

    Manager, Product Analyst

    Jul 2019 – May 2020

At Bizongo, I moved into an operating business, working with the founding and finance teams on the decisions behind a dependable B2B supply chain.

    • Worked on automated replenishment, using forecasts of goods movement to support purchase-order generation and reduce manual coordination.
    • Helped align replenishment planning with full-truck-load shipments and on-time, in-full delivery, addressing inventory and logistics costs together.
    • Partnered with finance on payment cycles, days payable outstanding and working-capital initiatives.
    • Worked directly with the founding team on cross-functional business problems.

  4. Equity derivatives

    JP Morgan

    Investment Banking Analyst

    Jun 2016 – Jun 2019

I began in equity derivatives, combining analytical precision with commercial context and supporting client-facing bankers.

    • Worked on pricing and structuring equity-derivative instruments for teams serving institutional and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
    • Used existing ESG research to select underlying equities and develop structured investment ideas.
    • Evaluated payoff structures and backtested investment ideas before presenting the analysis to senior bankers.
    • Worked first with the Hong Kong desk and later with the European desk.
